2. Water hammer

The simplest way to resolving this problem is by installing water hammer arrestors, which are small devices connected to the water pipes. Because copper is a malleable and ductile metal, it has a tendency to expand when hot water passes through them by transferring some of its heat. Hot copper pipes expand and contract and can rub against your home’s hidden structures such as joints and other pipes. The simplest method to this problem is to lower the temperature setting of your hot water.
4. Loose pipes
Loose pipes under the house are a common cause of noisy pipes. Because flushed water moves very rapidly and often in large volume, it can cause the pipes to wobble and rattle over time. Installing insulation clips or hangers can help secure and stabilize the pipes and minimize any movement.
